Come to the "Small Town, Big Secrets" Workshop at St. Paul’s Church on January 24th
The week after, BLA is proud to host the workshop “Small Town, Big Secrets: Writing the Small Town Mystery” with Claudia H. Long on January 24th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at St. Paul’s Church located at 120 East J Street in Benicia. The workshop is free to members, including those with trial memberships, and $20 for others. Long is the author of seven novels, including the humorous Simpato mystery series.
Her books span different centuries and topics, but all are twisty psychological novels fueled by family secrets and hidden scandals. The workshop will focus on world building and how to create a small town on the page. This workshop is a must for anyone who uses world building, or would like to learn how to use it, in their writing.
